Mobile Tester

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Engineer with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of Mobile Architecture. The ideal candidate will have expertise in software development, particularly in developing and enhancing mobile test automation frameworks. This role involves leading the design and development of automated solutions, including unit testing, functional testing, UI testing, and performance testing, to ensure software quality across a variety of mobile devices and tablets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in mobile test automation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Mobile Test Automation using Appium.
• Knowledge of Selenium and TestNG.
• Experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools.
• Experience with source code and CI/CD management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Perforce, Git, Bitbucket).

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with continuous integration unit tests.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and document test UI automation and application framework enhancements in Java Appium.
• Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features.
• Participate in code reviews and quality improvement processes.
• Maintain automated regression suites/packages to align with changing requirements and features.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams.
