Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR), travel assignment in Saint Helena, California. Start date 08/24/2026 for 8 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with day shifts (5x8). Short-term acute care hospital setting. Travel/temp assignment with Epic EMR workflow and backfill support. Weekly pay range: $2,129–$2,223.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated perioperative nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various nursing staff; coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia, and other disciplines; apply critical thinking and independent judgment.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, develop and implement a perioperative care plan, and coordinate care delivery.
- Provide health information to patients, families, and the treatment team; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately and oversee duties of the healthcare team; maintain a safe, sterile, and healing environment.
- Document care in the electronic medical record (Epic) and support ongoing education for patients, families, and team members; participate in quality and safety initiatives.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Minimum two years of recent perioperative/acute care nursing experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification; ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- BSN preferred
- Ability to work in a day shift OR setting; ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Vaccination requirements per organizational policy
