Work Environment

This full-time position requires an onsite presence, operating primarily within the facility and, when necessary, in home care settings, emphasizing a community-centric approach to physical rehabilitation. Our team currently consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), creating a collaborative environment where professionals can share insights and best practices to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients' goals and treatment needs, ensuring tailored care plans.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, typically seeing one patient per hour to provide focused and individualized attention.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to design comprehensive treatment strategies aimed at restoring functional movement.
• Incorporate a variety of treatment techniques to enhance patients' range of motion, strength, and overall mobility.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluating treatment outcomes, and adjusting care plans as necessary for maximum effectiveness.
• Document all patient interactions through our electronic medical record (EMR) system, with proficiency in software such as WebPT.
• Provide education and motivation to patients regarding home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications to prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure comprehensive understanding of advanced therapy techniques.
• A valid California Physical Therapist license is essential for practice.
• Strong clinical skills, including experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, are critical to this role.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions taken against your licensure.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques that facilitate improved patient outcomes.
• Ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is strongly preferred for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced orthopedic outpatient setting is a significant advantage.
• Additional training in specialized areas of physical therapy, such as sports medicine, may be beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team and effectively communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package aimed at supporting your health and wellness, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
