• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a credit union or banking environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

What You’ll Do:

Branch Leadership & Member Experience

• Lead daily branch operations and ensure a welcoming, service-driven environment
• Build strong member relationships and advocate for financial literacy
• Resolve complex member needs with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment
• Serve as a visible, engaged leader in the branch and community
• Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all member touchpoints

Team Coaching & Development

• Attract, hire, coach, and develop a high-performing branch team
• Provide daily guidance, feedback, and accountability to staff
• Foster a positive, collaborative, member-focused culture
• Support professional growth through training, mentoring, and performance management
• Model Austin Telco’s values of Respect, Empathy, Service, Integrity, and Cooperation

Operational Excellence

• Oversee branch operations including cash management, vault and ATM controls, security, and regulatory compliance
• Ensure accurate execution of transactions, audits, and operational protocols
• Monitor branch performance metrics and implement improvements
• Recommend process enhancements to optimize efficiency and service
• Protect members and the credit union from fraud, scams, and unlawful activity
• Perform Notary and Medallion Signature Guarantee services as needed

Community Engagement

• Represent Austin Telco in the community with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Participate in outreach, events, and partnerships that strengthen member relationships
• Promote financial education and support local initiatives

Branch Network Support

• Provide leadership coverage at nearby branches as needed
• Collaborate with the Regional Branch Manager and cross-functional partners to support organizational goals
