A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is needed in Rockford, Illinois. The position involves providing perioperative care for patients recovering from anesthesia, including pre-operative and phase 2 PACU activities. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of assignment.

• Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required.
• Required Qualifications: Phase 1 PACU experience as well as pre-operative and phase 2 PACU experience. No minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Days, with shifts varying between 8:00 AM and 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be available for weekend and holiday on-call coverage, which is scheduled for Fridays nights, Saturdays, and Sundays. In the event of night shift calls, potential call coverage may extend from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM on Monday through Thursday.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
