As a Chef de Partie at Woodside, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, cooking, and plating menu items efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Following recipes and menu specifications precisely to ensure consistency in every dish.
• Assisting with meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for service.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of your workstation in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Supporting kitchen operations during busy periods to ensure timely service.
• Handling food safely by adhering to health regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Collaborating with team members to execute menu planning ideas and contribute to a positive kitchen atmosphere.

We’re seeking a culinary professional with:

• At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant or culinary setting.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking proteins to temperature.
• Time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• A commitment to cleanliness, organization, and food safety protocols.
• Effective communication skills for working within a team.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work weekends and holidays as needed.

Experience in fine dining or catering is a plus, and a passion for learning and developing advanced cooking methods is essential.

• Pay : $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
• Expected Hours : 32 – 45 hours per week
