Shipping & Receiving Clerk – Order & Pallet Audit

Premier Home Pros is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk – Order & Pallet Audit to support our warehouse operations. This role is responsible for auditing outbound shipments and inbound receipts to ensure order accuracy, proper pallet configuration, and compliance with shipping and packaging standards. The ideal candidate helps prevent damage, shortages, and customer claims through careful inspection and documentation.
What You’ll DoAudit outbound orders to verify correct SKUs, quantities, and shipping documentation
Inspect pallet builds for proper stacking, weight distribution, and stability
Verify packaging integrity, including stretch wrap, strapping, corner boards, and pallet condition
Confirm accuracy of shipping labels, carton labels, and documentation
Audit inbound receipts for visible damage, accurate counts, and packaging condition
Document and report discrepancies, damages, or non-compliance issues
Partner with shipping, receiving, and warehouse leadership to resolve issues
Assist with rework, repalletization, and corrective actions as needed
Ensure compliance with customer-specific pallet and packaging requirements
Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce shipping errors and product damage
Maintain accurate audit logs and inspection records
Warehouse Management System (WMS) or shipping software
RF scanners
Pallet jacks and hand trucks
Forklifts or reach trucks (certification required)
Follow all warehouse safety policies and PPE requirements
Ensure pallets and loads are safe to move before transport
Report unsafe conditions or hazards immediately
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse audit experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Basic computer and math skills
Order audit accuracy
Packaging and pallet compliance
Reduction in shipping errors and damage claims
Adherence to safety and quality standards
