This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment. The Assembly Technician will work with a variety of tools, equipment, and materials to complete tasks efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of the production team.Essential Functions / Responsibility:Follow process sheets, create kits, and ensure compliance with Lean manufacturing principles.Operate testing equipment such as electrical multimeters, LP leak detectors, high/low voltage meters, and pressure/vacuum testers.Cross-train to work on various assembly tasks, including flooring installation, plumbing, door and window installation, stabilizing systems, HVAC, cabinet and countertop construction, welding, and technology integration.Collaborate with the team and management to enhance productivity and ensure safety in all operations.Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the overall goals of the department.Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow engineering drawings and instructions.Adaptability to work across various processes and willingness to cross-train.Effective communication and collaboration with team members to meet production goals.Demonstrate initiative and a safety-first mindset in all tasks.Take on additional duties as assigned.Basic Knowledge Desired:At least 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:Cabinet or countertop constructionGeneral construction or finish carpentryHVAC systemsPlumbing (PVC, PEX)HydraulicsAutomotive experience with trucksKnowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost optimization techniques.Familiarity with operating a wide range of tools including power drills, saws, sanders, hand tools, multimeters, and pneumatic tools.Demonstrate understanding and application of Nomad Core Values.Benefits and Compensation:Nomad offers a full benefit package including 6 paid holidays and 3 weeks (15 days) of paid personal time off (PTO) for a total of 21 paid days off in your first year.At $21.00/hour your annual income for holiday and PTO time = $3,528.At $23.00/hour = $3,864.At $25.00/hour = $4,200.PTO increases by 1 day per year up to 4 weeks or 20 days at 5 years.Nomad also has a 401K plan with a matching contribution from Nomad.
