Job Description

As a Security Officer - Site Patrol in Purchase NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a professional financial institution location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this role you will support a caring agile and reliable team culture while acting with integrity and helping create a welcoming environment for employees visitors and/or vendors.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility including entrances lobbies office areas and perimeter locations helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials visitor logs and/or deliveries in accordance with location procedures reporting discrepancies or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by observing for operational issues policy violations and/or security-related concerns then escalating matters through proper channels in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
