Job SummaryUW Health in northern Illinoisis seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our growing outpatient Gastroenterology team in Rockford, Illinois. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a leading digestive health program at the region’s preferred health system.As part of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of gastrointestinal conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in a GI setting and be passionate about patient care.Position Highlights:Schedule: Monday through Friday; no call componentCollaborate with a team of advanced gastroenterologists providing pre- and post-op care for our patientsCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including quaternary support from UW Health University HospitalWork alongside a comprehensive interdisciplinary cancer team at the Carbone Cancer Center Rockford, with over 70% market shareBuilt in referral base of 350,000 with a secondary market of over 750,000, working with the area’s preferred health care providerNewly renovated, state-of-the-art facilities to support your practiceQualifications:Active NP or PA license in Illinois (or the ability to obtain one prior to hire).Experience in gastroenterology is preferred, but new graduates with a strong interest in GI are encouraged to apply.About the Greater Rockford Area:Recently named the number one housing market in America by The Wall Street Journal, Rockford and northern Illinois offer world-class attractions — all at a cost of living significantly below those of most metropolitan areas.
