Physical Therapist Assistant (Outpatient Orthopedics)Company: Professional Therapy Partners Location: San Antonio, TX Employment Type: Full-Time (Preferred)Position Summary: Professional Therapy Partners is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic clinic in San Antonio, TX. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, this role involves implementing individualized care plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, and providing high-quality, evidence-based treatment. We maintain sustainable daily caseload expectations to ensure optimal patient outcomes and standard-of-care compliance.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesImplement physical therapy treatment plans as established by the evaluating Physical Therapist.Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional activities focusing on movement, performance, and long-term results.Monitor and report patient progress or adverse responses to the supervising Physical Therapist.Manage a daily caseload of approximately 11 to 13 patients.Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation for all patient encounters.Collaborate with clinic leadership and fellow clinicians to ensure high standards of care.Actively participate in continuous professional growth.Qualifications and RequirementsEducation: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.Licensure: Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Texas (or eligible for licensure).Experience: Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is strongly preferred.Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, interpersonal, and communication skills.Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.National Provider Identifier (NPI)Compensation and BenefitsBase Salary: $30 to $32 per hour (commensurate with clinical experience).Incentive Pay: Optional performance-based compensation structure available for accommodating additional patient volume.Insurance: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.Retirement: 401(k) program with company match.Professional Development: Generous continuing education (CEU) allowance.Schedule: Flexible scheduling options available to accommodate both full-time and part-time staff.
