Assistant Merchandiser

Our client, an apparel company, is looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join their kid's apparel team in NYC! Responsibilities: Provide administrative and organizational support to the Merchandising Department to ensure smooth daily operations. Enter and maintain product-related data in Excel with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Organize and update department records, files, and merchandise catalogs. Assist in compiling selling reports, sales recaps, and other performance analyses. Manage and track product samples to support seasonal assortments and line reviews. Support cross-functional projects and assist with special assignments as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Fashion Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in the fashion industry, including internships. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite. Highly motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and levels.
