Corporate Security Officer

General Purpose of Position:Perform daily security, safety, and public service duties. Maintain a safe and secure work environment, while assisting in various aspects of the facilities department.Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):Duties/Responsibilities1Oversee and administer security programs that control access to all of the campuses to ensure a safe work environment for all employees2Daily documentation of events that have occurred on campus(es)3Conduct regular patrols of all campus buildings and assist with events and activities located on the campus(es)4Professional customer service with employees, guests, vendors, contractors, and truck drivers5Able to manage complex issues in a calm professional manner, while ensuring the safety of employees and the campus(es)6Develop a working relationship with local law enforcement7Utilize security equipment, including CCTV, alarm systems and access control points.8Adhere to all SOPs, cGMPs, and COPs as directed by the Company and Food & Drug AdministrationTravel:Position may require 5-10% travelMust have a valid driver’s license.Work Shift:This position works days, nights, and weekends. Overtime may be required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of CCTV and Access SoftwareMust be observant and detail orientedHave a helpful and professional personalityEducation and Experience:Previous Security experience preferredOutstanding Customer service experience strongly preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Required to stand, sit, walk, talk, see, and hear. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must use hands and fingers to operate equipment/controls/computer.Must have the ability to adjust focus for unplanned activities and other duties as assigned. Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.Most of the work environment is indoors, but outdoor work required.
