Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Emergency Room Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Schedule: Nights, three 12-hour shifts per week. 7 pm - 7 am. Must be able to cover mid-shifts as needed.

Assignment Details: Contract Weeks: 13 Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Current RN License (VT or compact multi-state)
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Minimum 3 years of ER RN experience
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Meditech preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in an emergency department setting.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and consult with specialists as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate medical and nursing management.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple patient needs.
• Adjust nursing care processes as needed to ensure optimal patient care.

Compliance / Notes:

Credentialing must be uploaded no later than five business days before the start date. During orientation week, travelers on a 48-hour contract are only guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start.
