We prioritize sustainability, wellness, and impeccable service to create an atmosphere that feels both timeless and tranquil.We're looking for a hands-on Director of Housekeeping to own the department end to end: guest rooms, public areas, laundry and linen, and our third-party housekeeping partnership. You'll set the standard for cleanliness and presentation, manage the labor and expense budget, keep us compliant with Santa Monica and California hotel worker requirements, and build a strong, accountable team.What you'll doLead daily housekeeping operations and inspections across the propertyManage the contracted housekeeping vendor — staffing, quality, accountability, and invoice reconciliationBuild and manage the department budget; forecast labor by occupancyEnsure compliance with the Santa Monica Hotel Worker Protection Ordinance and Cal/OSHA housekeeping standardsRecruit, train, and develop housekeeping supervisors and associatesPartner with Front Office and Engineering to deliver a seamless guest experienceWhat you bring4+ years of hotel housekeeping leadership, including 2+ years as Director of Housekeeping or Executive HousekeeperBoutique, lifestyle, or luxury hotel experience strongly preferredExperience managing outsourced or contracted housekeeping laborBudgeting and labor-forecasting skillsBilingual English/Spanish strongly preferredFlexibility to work weekends and holidaysBenefitsPerformance-based bonus eligibility, health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off and holidays, wellness incentives and hotel discounts, professional development.
