Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months. • Experience with Allscripts/Eclipsys is preferred. • 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North TX Division. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: - Telemetry experience. Preferred Skills/Experience: - Cardiac recognition. - IV starts. Unit Details: - 5:1 on the 4th floor Med Surg Specialty unit; 6:1 on the 5th floor Med Surg unit. - Uses remote telemetry, capnography, Alaris IV pumps, glucometers, and dynamaps. - Typical procedures include chole, appy, colectomy, diagnostic procedures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, heart caths, run offs, gastric sleeves, total hip, knee and shoulder replacements, and ortho trauma repairs (fractures). Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend shifts are required. No on-call. Floating Requirements: - Mandatory float as needed to inpatient rehab, ED, and PCU. Will not be given an assignment outside of skill level or scope. Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
