Local Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) – Night Shift
Assignment Details
- Night Shift: 11:15 PM – 7:15 AM
- 5x8 Schedule
- 40 Hours Guaranteed Weekly
- 13-Week Contract
- Weekend, Holiday, and On-Call Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field
- MT or MLS Certification (ASCP preferred)
- Equivalent certifications accepted (NCA, AMT, or HEW)
- Minimum 3+ years of recent Medical Technologist experience
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Experience with EPIC preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform and evaluate quality control procedures
- Conduct Chemistry and Diagnostic Immunology testing
- Process and analyze laboratory specimens
- Perform STAT and routine testing accurately and efficiently
- Troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment
- Participate in proficiency testing and quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with training and departmental workflow optimization
- Provide on-call coverage as needed
