Designer, Toddler Boys page is loaded## Designer, Toddler Boyslocations: Corporate Office - HQtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R000031149**Location:**Secaucus, New Jersey#### **Job Summary:**The Designer will join our apparel design team, focusing on Toddler Boy apparel, overseeing the end-to-end product design process, from initial concept to final prototype across multiple categories. Responsibilities include market research, sketching, refining product fit, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and on-trend Toddler Boys apparel. The Designer will build effective collaborative relationships and maintain the unique look, integrity, and vision of the brand.## **Responsibilities:****Key Accountabilities:*** Possess a critical eye for design, color, and fit, with the ability to self-edit and refine work to meet brand standards* Ensure product is consistent with market trends while maintaining the brand identity and business strategy* Research competitive markets to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques* Shop local NJ and/or NYC markets for design inspiration* Concept and execute silhouette, fit, construction and styling direction through detailed tech pack development* Sketch and color assigned categories in Illustrator* Ensure production/sampling packages are accurate and complete* Partner with Merchandising Team to set seasonal framework and ensure creative ideas and business goals are aligned* Set seasonal fabric and trim direction, working with Product Development, Production and R&D Teams regarding QA results and development issues* Participate in fittings and provide design intent to maintain brand integrity throughout all stages* Maintain daily communication with Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design Teams* Adhere to cross-functional calendar and attend all meetings as required* Provide a positive and collaborative work environment**Education and Experience:*** Bachelor's degree in design or related field* 3+ years of experience in design or related field**Skills and Behaviors:*** Ability to design within concepts and iterate on designs based on feedback and market performance* Comprehensive knowledge of fabrications, silhouettes, color assortment, construction techniques, and trim* Highly organized with effective communication skills* Must be able to work towards multiple deadlines with shifting priorities* Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, PLM and Microsoft Office**Hourly/Salary**$50,000.00 - $125,000.00 Salaryo Benefits include: Bonus eligible (depending on role), Paid Time Off, Employee Discount, 401(k) and company match, Wellness Reimbursement, Adoption Assistance, free backup care (for kids, pets & the elderly), choice of health insurance plans, company-paid life/AD&D, short and long term disability, a variety of voluntary benefits and an employee assistance program.
