Sam's Club #8190 6614 Gulf Freeway La Marque, TX 77568-3096 Position Summary Provides member service, maintains the checkout area, resolves member issues, promotes Sam's Club products and services, and offers guidance on self‑service technology. Handles member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies for various membership and payment types. Follows safety standards and procedures, conducts safety sweeps, and reports unsafe situations. Maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership cards, assists members with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, and organizes merchandise zones. Assists members with transporting items and maintains a safe shopping environment. Keeps paperwork and logs, executes emergency response procedures, and ensures compliance with security and safety practices. Trains Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, new technology, and tool functionality, delivering program rollout training and continuous learning opportunities. Responsibilities Provide guest service and resolve concerns. Maintain checkout area and merchandise zones. Process member purchases and handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges. Adhere to safety, security, and compliance policies. Assist in training new associates and offer continuous improvement opportunities. Identify and report shrink, damages, and unsafe situations. Communicate progress, recommend improvement opportunities, and adapt to change. Minimum Qualifications Retail experience including operation of front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register) and use of mobile retail applications.
