ISO a Fun Loving Associate Veterinarian in Tacoma WA

We are a fun-loving group of compassionate and hard-working staff and are in search of the right veterinarian to join our team! (part-time or full-time) At Button Veterinary Hospital we consider our clients and their pets as family . We are a privately owned, well-established ( founded in 1920 ) full-service small animal hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. Because of our longevity, we have treated pets for 4 and 5 generations of families in the South Puget Sound. We consider our patients part of our family and approach veterinary care as such. Our goal is to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and full-service veterinary health care. We provide care for dogs, cats, rabbits, and pocket pets but are open to expanding the range of species we can treat. What you can look forward to working at Button Veterinary Hospital: Working with a team of 5 (full-time & part-time) experienced and passionate veterinarians (new grads would benefit from the diverse set of skills our team possesses!). A well-trained support team with diverse backgrounds in various areas of veterinary medicine. We have a low turnover rate, and pride ourselves on taking care of our staff. A team that is caring and compassionate, which of course, is key to high quality patient care. Our team seeks new avenues of patient care, always striving to improve the medicine we provide. Our senses of humor are important to us, we like to have fun and appreciate being able to be silly. Everyone says it, but we value a work/life balance for all our staff, and we think we do a good job! What is cool about our facility: We have relocated to a newly renovated building in South Tacoma just over 2 years ago, with 2 surgical suites, a dental suite with a 2-patient capacity, a dedicated surgical prep area, as well as a Class IV laser, ultrasound, digital radiology and digital dental radiology. We are open to expanding our services to include a candidate’s specials interests such as more in-depth ultrasound, expanded use of our class IV therapeutic laser therapy, expanded urgent care, surgical, holistic care (including acupuncture), behavioral, etc. We feel we have an exceptionally designed hospital (all courtesy of our owner, Dr. Danielle Jensen) and would love to give you a tour if you are curious about our facility. What we can look forward to working with you: A veterinarian who cares first and foremost about our patients and clients as well as someone who endeavors to provide high quality medicine, creates lasting relationships with our clients and is willing to share their knowledge with their fellow veterinarians and our support team. Someone who is able to adapt to changing circumstances, is willing to let our awesome support team excel in their positions and will work with their fellow veterinarians to ensure consistent care for our patients. A veterinary professional who is excited about refining and expanding their skill set, including soft skills such as communication, emotional intelligence, self-care, time management and self-confidence.
