Millwright / Maintenance Technician – $28+/hr + Growth

Looking for a hands-on mechanical role with great pay and year-round work? We're hiring Millwrights and Maintenance Technicians to support equipment installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance in an industrial environment. Great fit for candidates with millwright, maintenance, mechanical, fabrication, construction, or industrial experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems and production equipment
• Work on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and related machinery
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Perform welding, fabrication, and repair work
• Operate forklifts, lifts, hoists, and other equipment
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks
• Maintain a safe and organized work area

What We're Looking For

• Mechanical, maintenance, millwright, or industrial experience
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• Comfortable working in industrial environments
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

Experience That's a Plus

• Welding or fabrication experience
• Industrial maintenance experience
• Conveyor, pump, or motor repair experience
• Hydraulics, piping, or mechanical systems experience
• Forklift or rigging experience
• Construction or manufacturing experience

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
