Position Overview

We are seeking highly experienced Senior UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) Consultants to support a long-term implementation initiative for a major retail organization.

These are senior-level, client-facing consulting positions requiring deep expertise in UKG Pro Workforce Management , strong communication skills, and the ability to lead conversations and advise clients on solution design and best practices.

We are looking for strategic, take-charge consultants who can independently drive their respective workstreams-not simply execute assigned configuration tasks.

Areas of Expertise

Candidates must have deep expertise in at least one of the following UKG Pro WFM areas:

• Timekeeping & Accruals / Absence Management
• Forecasting & Scheduling
• Boomi Integrations

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing UKG Pro Workforce Management implementations from discovery through post-production support.
• Conduct requirements-gathering and discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Configure UKG Pro WFM based on business requirements and approved solution designs.
• Lead or support testing, deployment, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
• Evaluate business requirements and present multiple solution approaches where appropriate.
• Recommend UKG best practices and advise clients on key configuration and design decisions.
• Take ownership of assigned functional or integration workstreams and proactively drive deliverables.
• Collaborate effectively with client stakeholders, project leadership, functional teams, and technical teams.
• Identify implementation risks, dependencies, and potential solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on UKG Pro Workforce Management configuration experience.
• Deep expertise in at least one of the following:
  • Timekeeping & Accruals / Absence Management
  • Forecasting & Scheduling
  • Boomi Integrations
• Proven experience delivering full end-to-end UKG Pro WFM implementations .
• Hands-on experience across requirements gathering, discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Strong client-facing consulting and stakeholder-management experience.
• Ability to recommend best practices and provide strategic guidance rather than functioning solely as a configuration resource.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead workstreams and take ownership of project deliverables.
• Must currently reside in North America .

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail industry experience or experience implementing UKG Pro WFM within large retail environments.
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally as required by the client.

Engagement Details

This is a long-term engagement of 18+ months , with consultants expected to work approximately 40 hours per week .
