How you'll make an impact in this role

• Lead & Coordinate Shift Operations: Oversee daily workflow, delegate assignments, monitor task progress, and ensure team adherence to hospital policies and regulatory procedures.
• Deliver Advanced Clinical & Emergency Care: Perform full Respiratory Therapist duties following age-specific guidelines, while providing rapid initial response in emergency situations.
• Train & Mentor Staff: Serve as a technical and functional resource, leading the orientation, hands-on training, and skill development of assigned team members.
• Support Team Performance & Compliance: Provide valuable input for staff performance evaluations while consistently maintaining required annual mandatory competencies.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart
    Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior
    to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
