The Staff Pad has partnered with a renowned healthcare organization in Hamilton, TX to hire a compassionate Physical Therapist to join a growing Physical Therapy team.
In this role, you will administer physical therapy treatments and therapeutic modalities as prescribed by a physician to support patient recovery, improve mobility and function, reduce pain, and promote overall rehabilitation goals.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate patients, develop & support treatments discharge plans under physician direction
- Prepare and educate patients on prescribed treatments
- Administer therapeutic exercises, modalities, and mobility training while educating patients
- Monitor patient progress and document treatments accurately
- Provide age-appropriate care for patients across lifespan in accordance with departmental policy
- Perform routine equipment maintenance as directed
- Clean and properly store equipment after use
- Maintain confidentiality while providing professional, patient-centered service
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Texas Physical Therapy license and CPR certification
- Knowledge of physical therapy equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- One year of physical therapy experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 300 pounds, including assisting patients as needed
