Mechanical Engineer, Staff | Lockheed MartinLockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control, Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOFGLSS) contract, located in Lexington, KY, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and complete modifications on various military vehicle and aircraft platforms in support of the warfighter. This program, critical to the success of US service men and women deployed throughout the world has a mission to rapidly and properly equip the SOF community and its war fighters with the best possible systems and equipment anywhere in the world.Basic Qualifications:Experience with 3D parametric modeling in CATIA, SolidWorks or similar software.Experience with creation, review, and approval of engineering change documentationExperience creating ANSI/ASME Y14.100 compliant drawingsExperience with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Strong communication and presentation skillsDesired skills:Experience working in an aerospace environment.Experience with Catia V5, Creo, SolidWorks or other 3D parametric modeling program.Other Important Information:By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
