Job Summary

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Title Clerk with hands-on experience in liens and auto title/loan processing . This position will support documentation and processing related to automobiles, boats, and trailers , ensuring all title, lien, and loan records are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong background in collateral documentation, title transfers, and lien perfection/release processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Process titles and related loan documentation for automobiles, boats, and trailers
• Review title and loan packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Prepare and submit title applications, lien filings, lien releases, and ownership transfers
• Track title status and follow up on outstanding documentation with customers, lenders, dealerships, and state agencies
• Research and resolve title discrepancies, missing documents, and lien issues
• Maintain organized and accurate records for loan and title files
• Ensure timely processing of collateral documents in accordance with internal procedures and state regulations
• Support reporting, audits, and document reconciliation as needed
• Provide administrative support related to secured loan and title processing

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience with liens and auto title/loan processing required
• Experience processing titles for vehicles, boats, and/or trailers preferred
• Knowledge of title transfers, lien perfection, lien release, and registration processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume document processing
• Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related processing systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a bank, credit union, dealership, or title services environment
• Familiarity with state DMV or titling regulations
• Background in consumer lending, collateral documentation, or secured loan support
