Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Avir at John Jones in Burleson, TX. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and under the supervision of a licensed nurse

• Prepare, report, and record medications

• Conduct vital signs and observe patients' conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

• Provide emotional support and empathy to patients and their families

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide in the state of Texas

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
