Key Responsibilities

• Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of patient care within scope of practice
• Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs
• Transcribe, utilize, and implement protocols and physician orders accurately
• Coordinate the healthcare team and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel
• Maintain compliance with annual continuing education unit (CEU) requirements

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
• Current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming in good standing with the Board of Nursing
• Current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six (6) months of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within six (6) months of hire
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification required within six (6) months of hire; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within six (6) months of hire

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous clinical nursing experience in a hospital or emergency care setting
• Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) certification highly recommended
• Experience with de-escalation techniques and procedural sedation protocols
