Property Management Associates (PMA) is seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Onsite Property Manager to lead an amazing 288-unit apartment community in beautiful Santa Ana, California.

What You'll Do

As Property Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation and performance of this 288-unit community .

You will lead the onsite team, oversee property operations, maintain high standards for the community, and ensure residents receive an exceptional living experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of a 288-unit multifamily apartment community .
• Lead, supervise, and support Assistant Managers, Leasing Consultants, Maintenance personnel, and vendors.
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for delivering excellent service and maintaining property standards.
• Conduct daily and weekly comprehensive property inspections , with particular attention to preventative maintenance items.
• Ensure the community, common areas, grounds, amenities, and apartments are maintained to a high standard.
• Identify maintenance, safety, and curb-appeal concerns and ensure timely resolution.
• Oversee and coordinate maintenance staff and outside vendors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Drive leasing and marketing efforts to maintain strong occupancy and maximize the property's performance.
• Monitor leasing activity, conduct follow-up, and ensure prospective residents receive an exceptional leasing experience.
• Oversee applications, move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and resident retention efforts.
• Utilize Yardi Voyager for property management, accounting, reporting, and operational functions.
• Monitor property financial activity and assist with budgeting and financial performance.
• Maintain accurate property records and ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
• Effectively manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and day-to-day challenges associated with a large residential community.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an experienced multifamily leader who is confident, organized, hands-on, and understands how to successfully manage a large community and onsite team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience managing large multifamily communities of 250+ units.
• Class A or B multifamily experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Yardi Voyager is essential.
• Proven experience supervising Assistant Managers, Leasing Consultants, Maintenance personnel, and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of multifamily property operations and property accounting.
• Proven track record of successfully marketing and leasing apartments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and resident-relations skills.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must live on-site.
• Saturday availability is required.
• Valid driver's license and evidence of auto insurance required.

Employment Requirements
