Clinical Specialist, Joint Replacement - Ann Arbor/Novi, MI

Clinical Specialist supporting orthopedic surgeons in operating rooms across the Ann Arbor and Novi areas. The role involves hands-on training with robotic and manual joint replacement procedures, pre-operative planning, equipment setup, and real-time surgical support, with on-call availability required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning
• Prepare cases including instrumentation checks, equipment setup, and OR readiness verification
• Troubleshoot technical issues efficiently during surgical procedures
• Shadow experienced team members and participate in product demonstrations and labs
• Manage account coordination tasks including inventory, logistics, and case documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate degree with 4+ years related experience
• Valid driver's license and fluency in written and spoken English
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Comfort managing stressful operating room situations with professionalism
• Previous clinical experience preferred (nursing, surgical technology, physical therapy, or similar)
• Willingness to participate in on-call coverage including evenings and weekends

Compensation: $59,900 - $83,300 USD annual
