Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts Start Date: 02/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 per week Responsibilities Pre-Operative Prepare operating room with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies. Conduct pre-op patient assessments. Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and expectations. Administer pre-operative medications as required. Ensure all documentation and consents are verified. Intra-Operative Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies efficiently. Monitor and document patient vital signs. Maintain strict sterile field and infection-control practices. Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow. Post-Operative Monitor patients during recovery from anesthesia. Provide immediate postoperative care and assessments. Educate patients/families on wound care, discharge instructions, and follow-up. Record detailed surgical logs and patient care documentation.
