Warehouse Worker

Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity available for a Warehouse Worker to be an integral part of our Distribution team. Epic takes pride in our quality of work and has a goal of building our workforce with the most talented employees. WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A WAREHOUSE WORKER I At least 1 year of relevant work experience. May require direction and guidance for daily tasks and responsibilities. Pull and prepare orders for shipment. Move stock or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, forklift, or other equipment. Sort and stack cargo before loading and unloading. Receive and check in inbound material. Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets. Use controls to guide, position, or move equipment, such as cranes, booms, or cameras. Wash out cargo containers or storage areas. Be on-call on a biweekly basis. WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A WAREHOUSE WORKER II At least 2-5 years of relevant work experience. Exercise independence in daily tasks and decision making. Pull and prepare orders for shipment. Move stock or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, forklift, or other equipment. Sort and stack cargo before loading and unloading. Receive and check in inbound material. Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets. Use controls to guide, position, or move equipment, such as cranes, booms, or cameras. Wash out cargo containers or storage areas. Be on-call on a biweekly basis. WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A WAREHOUSE WORKER III At least 5 years of relevant work experience. May lead others in the warehouse environment. Provides direct support to Warehouse Supervisor and/or Warehouse Manager. May be responsible for training others within the warehouse. Pull and prepare orders for shipment. Move stock or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, forklift, or other equipment. Sort and stack cargo before loading and unloading. Receive and check in inbound material. Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets. Be on-call on a biweekly basis. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Education: High School Diploma or GED; Preferred. Experience: 1-5 Years of Relevant Experience. Computer Skills: None specifically required.
