Director Finance- Case Ready Value-Added

Job Details:The Director of Finance provides financial and business leadership while ensuring strong financial stewardship within the Case Ready Value-Added Business Unit. The position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Finance Accounting and has a dotted-line reporting relationship with the respective Business Unit.Responsibilities include:Providing financial support for plant operationsPreparing and analyzing plant operations reportsSupporting Business Unit sales through financial analysis, margin reporting, and performance reportingManaging sales accruals, SG&A expense rates, and related reportingPreparing and analyzing Business Unit profit and loss (P&L) resultsReporting and analyzing volume, mix, and capacity performanceReporting and analyzing working capital performanceManaging balance sheet reconciliations and related sales and operations reportingPreparing and analyzing financial scorecards and metricsConducting category and customer pricing analysisIdentifying and implementing business process improvementsPreparing and analyzing quarterly projectionsSupporting annual operating plan, strategic plan, and budget development and reportingSupporting capital project preparation, analysis, and reportingManaging and developing a team of financial managersEnsuring compliance with Internal Controls and SOX requirementsSupporting system design, implementation, and rollout activitiesServing as a financial partner to cross-functional business teamsPerforming other duties as assignedRequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent required.Experience: 10+ years of accounting or finance experience preferred. Previous accounting supervisory experience preferred.Computer Skills: Standard computer skills required.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of business management and Finance & Accounting staff.Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for supervising and interacting with varying levels of Finance & Accounting and Business Management personnel.Travel: Four or more domestic trips per year.Relocation Assistance Eligible:YesWork Shift:1ST SHIFT (United States of America)Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
