Forklift Operator

Job Description Job Description Zing Recruiting is partnered with a global flavors manufacturer in Carol Stream. We are seeking a forklift operator to join the team on 2nd shift for the production of spices. This is a great opportunity to join in on a global organization that offers full union benefits .

Shift: 2nd shift 2pm-1030pm
Pay: $21.50 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Load and unload trucks while verifying shipment accuracy.
Move raw materials, finished goods, and inventory throughout the facility.
Stage materials for production and shipping operations.
Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required documentation.
Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities as required.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Support inventory counts and cycle count activities.
Work collaboratively with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to meet operational goals.
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous forklift operating experience required.
Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification).
Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred.
Basic math and computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.
