Project Engineer

This position will support Precision Fires Launcher LSE Leads as assigned. The role provides project engineering support to ensure the technical excellence of products and services and to help the LSE team achieve program milestones on time and within schedule. Responsibilities include monitoring metrics, compliance matrix, forecasting and evaluating scheduling requirements, and tracking proposals. Responsibilities Initiate requests to planning by supporting CAMs as they open and close charge numbers to keep schedule and program milestones. Support firm planning effort on newly awarded contracts. Develop budget baseline within Work Authorization Document (WAD) and Program Management Program Directives. Work with Finance on Schedule, Budget, Change Requests (SBCR). Support internal audits and Initial Baseline Reviews (IBRs) with the customer. Proposal Tasks Coordinate LSE proposal activities from RFP to Contract Award. Support proposal estimates and proposal development. Other Tasks Monitor and track functional processes, methods, and practices for assigned LSE elements and their schedule for planning purposes. Update, forecast and evaluate LSE manpower requirements related to schedule. Monitor, update and track LSE compliance matrix. Provide strong background in supporting the planning, scheduling IMS/PSM organization activities for development and integration of LSE functional efforts. Support planning and scheduling requirements development for LSE scope of work. Participate in technical and programmatic reviews and meetings. Support and track peer reviews to assure technical excellence of work products. Provide timely communication and interface with program organization for assigned scope of work. Demonstrate strong organization, time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi‑task high priorities. Basic Qualifications Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Project management skillsets, including leadership, effective communication, planning/organization, risk management, and planning or scheduling acumen. Proficient with Microsoft Office software tools. Proven resource management – people, material, and time. Familiarity with Tableau. Precision Fires program knowledge and experience. Candidate must be willing to work overtime and travel as needed to support program. Desired Skills Solid understanding of the principles and analysis of the LSE disciplines. Intermediate skill level with Excel (e.g., formulas, basic pivot tables) and other Microsoft applications. Ability to build collaborative relationships with cross‑functional stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a team environment. Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level Secret Work Schedule 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Employment Type Full‑Time. Shift: First.
