Full-time Business Group: DCS Legal Entity: AECOM Technical Services Inc Business Line: Water Work Location Model: Hybrid Primary Location: US - Virginia Beach, VA - 222 Centra Compensation: USD 150,000 - USD 175,000 - yearly Job Description AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a dynamic, talented Water‑Wastewater Senior Project Manager for immediate employment to be based out of our Virginia Beach, VA office. Candidate will manage, plan and lead engineering design and evaluation projects for water/wastewater treatment plants and associated infrastructure. The appropriate qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in water and wastewater projects. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Manage water and wastewater projects from planning through design and construction. Responsibility of the project, including but not limited to financial performance, schedule, staffing, execution, and contract closeout. Provides guidance to and mentors subordinates staff. Ensure company project policies are followed. Participation in water community activities including Water Environment Federation and American Water Works Association. Leads business development activities, pursuing new clients/projects, and managing project deliveries. Leads with an interest in developing and mentoring team members and demonstrated ability to successfully work in diverse teams and projects. Qualifications BS in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Registered Professional Engineer (PE). Demonstrated knowledge of water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations, collection and distribution systems and client/consultant relations experience. Preferred Qualifications BS in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering plus 10 years of related experience in water/wastewater consulting and engineering management. Registered Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in Virginia or capable of obtaining the required license within 6 months of employment.
