Welder/Tuber - 3rd Shift

Location: Hutchinson, Kansas

We are looking for skilled welders and tubers for a 3rd shift position. The ideal candidate will have a strong work history , no job-hopping, and a proven track record of reliability. This role requires individuals who can work independently with minimal supervision. In addition to welding, candidates should be comfortable working in the blast booth and assisting with prep work for the day shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality welding and tuber tasks with minimal supervision.
• Work in the blast booth to prepare metal and parts for the next shift.
• Interpret blueprints and work orders to ensure accurate welding.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.
• Assist with various pre-production prep tasks, ensuring everything is ready for day shift operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3rd shift availability (Monday-Friday).
• Strong work history with no job-hopping.
• Experience with MIG (GMAW), Stick (SMAW) welding, and tubing processes.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment weld test.
• Comfortable working in a blast booth and performing various prep duties.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in hot/cold environments and stand for extended periods.
