Med/Surg First Acute Med/Surg Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital Location: Penn Yan, NY

Shifts: 12-hour shifts (Day/Night rotation)

Work 72 hours bi-weekly, but get paid for 40 hours (after department orientation is complete)

RN Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Professional Nursing
• BSN preferred
• Current NYS License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse

Responsibilities

Med/Surg As a Registered Nurse on first acute you will use your clinical expertise, technical skills, and compassionate communication to provide exceptional care to patients and families. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, you will assess patient needs, develop personalized care plans, provide direct care, evaluate patient progress, and coordinate the overall care process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing care for medical-surgical patients across a variety of conditions
• Educating patients and families about self-care after discharge

Salary Range: $40.71-$50.92
