• Facilitate 3 hours of mental health group therapy weekly , utilizing evidence-based approaches to support emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness.

• Facilitate substance use disorder (SUD) treatment groups , focusing on relapse prevention, recovery skills, and behavior change.

• Maintain an assigned mental health caseload , providing individual psychotherapy, ongoing assessments, treatment planning, and progress monitoring.

• Develop individualized mental health treatment plans.

• Participate in multidisciplinary staffing (MDS) meetings , providing clinical consultation, mental health recommendations, diagnostic insight, and guidance regarding co-occurring disorders, treatment barriers, client progress, and appropriate interventions.

• Collaborate with LADCs and other treatment professionals to coordinate integrated care and promote continuity of services.

• Provide mental health consultation and clinical guidance to the multidisciplinary treatment team.

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable regulations.

• Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment that addresses co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

• Handle a manageable caseload of patients
• Identify core underlying issues that may be contributing to a history of substance abuse
• Create and implement treatment plans that fit each patient 
• Uplift and support patients, working with them and their families to help create realistic, lasting change

• Required:
  
  
  • Active Minnesota independent mental health professional license (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist).

  • Active Minnesota Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) license.

  • Experience assessing and treating mental health and substance use disorders.

  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, person-centered care.

• Preferred:
  
  
  • Experience in outpatient substance use disorder treatment.

  • Familiarity with Minnesota Statutes Chapter 245G and co-occurring treatment requirements.

  • Experience with ASAM criteria, motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, or other evidence-based interventions.
