Travel Registered Nurse - Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation

Shift: 17:00 - 05:00 (Night shift availability needed)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse for our Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong Med/Surg nursing skills and be committed to delivering excellent patient care. Experience in rehabilitation nursing is a plus, though not required. You will be responsible for patient assessments, creating care plans, and ensuring effective patient communication throughout their stay.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting.
• Participate in patient rounding and prepare patients for discharge.
• Ensure effective communication with patients and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility transfers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid Utah RN license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• Preferred: NIHHS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• Strong Med/Surg nursing background; rehabilitation experience is a plus.
