Job Location - Fond du Lac, WI

Starting Date - ASAP

Employment Term - Temporary - MAY turn temp to hire

Employment Type - Full time

Work Hours (Shift) - 2nd shift

Starting Pay - $19

Required Experience - At least 2 years of experience

As our CNC Machinist, you'll be at the heart of our production, transforming raw wood into beautiful, precise components. Your day-to-day will involve:

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating our advanced CNC woodworking machines (routers, panel saws, boring machines, etc.).
• Crafting and optimizing CNC programs (G-code, M-code, or specialized software) to ensure every cut is perfect and material use is maximized.
• Selecting and managing the right cutting tools for various wood types, keeping an eye on wear and making adjustments.
• Performing quality checks on parts to guarantee they meet our high standards and exact specifications.
• Loading and unloading wood materials safely and efficiently.
• Keeping our machines running smoothly through routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Interpreting blueprints and drawings to understand precisely what needs to be made.
• Troubleshooting any issues that arise, always striving for solutions.
• Maintaining accurate records of your work.
• Working safely and encouraging a safe environment for everyone.
• Collaborating with our design and production teams to deliver outstanding products.

Qualifications

• Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for precision and can accurately read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Wood Knowledge: You understand different wood species and how to best machine them.
• Problem-Solver: You can diagnose issues and find effective solutions.
• Experience: Must have at least 2 years of experience running a CNC
• Safety First: You're committed to following all safety procedures.
