Home Care Assistant

University Home Care

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to provide in-home support to our clients in Dearborn Heights, MI. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Help with light housekeeping duties including laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning.
Assist with mobility and transferring clients safely.
Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or related field is an advantage.
Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
