Industrial Maintenance Technician – $25.47–$35.78 (3rd Shift) Full-time Compensation: USD 25.47 - USD 35.78 hourly Schedule: Monday-Friday (10:00 PM to 6:30 AM) with some weekend work and OT. Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be dependable, able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required. They may also be required to pass an aptitude test. The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing), power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized forklift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Primary Duties Complete work orders as assigned Keep work areas neat and clean Work safely and follow all SOPs on lockout of equipment Conduct PM on assigned areas Complete daily and monthly PMs Assist others on job tasks Identify needed mechanical improvements Make necessary mechanical repairs when possible Identify and work to eliminate unsafe conditions and/or practices Complete and maintain accurate downtime sheets/GMP log Be on call on weekends when required Rewire electrical buckets and motors as needed Primary Objectives Work with line operators/supervisors to proactively maintain lines running Complete work orders in a timely manner Education High School Diploma or equivalent Relevant Experience Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Equipment/Software Skills Basic computer knowledge - data entry Get along well with other people Operate and understand packaging equipment and processes Strong written and verbal communication skills Desire to advance in Maintenance Department Operate forklift truck, scissors lift, zoom boom, and sky trace Basic mechanical skills Rewire electrical components throughout plant (strong industrial electrical background) Connect laptop to equipment to troubleshoot machine Wear respirator (SCBA and/or cartridge type) (physical may be required) Physical This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights Mental/Reasoning Must be able to analyze information quickly to provide feedback in the manufacturing process and troubleshoot equipment failures Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Stratas Foods is an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate against any applicant or employee in any manner prohibited by law, including but not limited to, on the basis of race or color, religion, gender, age, genetic information, national origin/ancestry, mental or physical disability, family status/marital status, military/veteran status, and any other legally protected status.
