Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes and healthcare facilities, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care. This role involves operating portable radiography equipment, transmitting images for interpretation, and supporting clinical workflows in a mobile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital and computed radiography equipment, ensuring clinically diagnostic images.
• Unload and transport portable X-ray equipment to facilities as ordered, maintaining equipment integrity.
• Conduct EKGs as needed and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, and clinical staff to coordinate workflows and document procedures.
• Maintain clean, functional vehicle and radiography equipment, adhering to safety standards.
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily in accordance with protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid state licensure and ARRT certification for radiologic technology.
• Possess a valid driver's license in good standing and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate proficiency in portable digital and computed radiography techniques.
• Be capable of lifting and pushing equipment up to 50-100 lbs, with physical endurance for the demands of the role.
• Maintain compliance with health requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
