Banquet House person- Part-Time

Job Title

The purpose of the position is to establish, maintain, and update the hotel meeting rooms in accordance with the sales contract and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the banquet and meeting rooms.
• Ensure that all banquet and meeting rooms are properly configured in a timely manner, so that banquet service staff can prepare for functions.
• Assist banquet employees during functions.
• Responsible for putting everything back in place after the event is completed.
• Ensure that all rooms have water.

Qualifications

Education/Formal Training

No formal education required.

Experience

Previous experience in the banquet area is desirable.

Knowledge/Skills

• Minimum literacy required; can use alternative training tools.

• Standing: standing and/or walking continuously to accomplish all that is required for the position.
• Climbing stairs - approximately 40 steps 15% of 40 weekly hours.
• Driving not required

Work Environment

Inside 80% of 8 hours.
