Inside Sales Rep.

In this role, you will take full ownership of assigned customer accounts, cultivate new business opportunities, and sell high-quality specialty wire products and services. You will work closely with management, production, and field sales teams to drive profitable business and exceed sales targets. What You Will Do:

- Account Management & Growth: Cultivate relationships with established and prospective customers. Conduct inbound and outbound sales calls to discuss technical requirements, address challenges, and uncover new business opportunities.
- Order & Quote Management: Provide accurate verbal and written quotations, negotiate order-level pricing and freight terms, and check inventory availability. Enter and manage customer orders accurately using our Axiom ERP system.
- Technical Support: Utilize internal systems to become fully conversant on technical product specifications, helping customers choose the best applications for their specific needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with field sales staff for a coordinated regional effort, communicate customer needs to commercial and production teams, and recommend stock buys to the purchasing group.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize CRM tools to track goals, manage the open-order backlog, resolve customer claims, and actively participate in Lean initiatives and ISO compliance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or an engineering-related discipline is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of meaningful B2B technical sales or telephone sales experience. Experience within the metals industry is highly desired.
- Skills: Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard internet technology. strong organizational, troubleshooting, and follow-up skills are essential.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and an excellent communicator who excels in a team-based environment.
- Travel: While this is an office-based role, you must be willing and able to make occasional visits to customer locations to maintain strong working relationships.

- Sales & Account Management: Respond to inbound inquiries, make outbound prospecting calls, provide quotes, negotiate pricing/freight, and manage orders from entry to delivery using the Axiom ERP system.
- Customer Relations: Build strong relationships, provide technical assistance, resolve customer claims, and perform CRM updates.
- Operations Collaboration: Monitor inventory, recommend buys to purchasing, coordinate with production, and align with field sales.
- Continuous Improvement: Learn ISO concepts, comply with SOPs, and participate in Lean initiatives.
