Qualified applicants should have at least two years of related experience or a degree/certification related to behavioral health. Duties and Responsibilities Provide services to address the wants and needs of people with developmental disabilities, which may include: Supporting personal goals Administering medications Planning and preparing meals Assisting with activities of daily living Transporting to and from day program and community outings Reinforcing therapies, including speech, behavioral support, and physical therapy Ensuring all needs are addressed in a respectful manner with dignity and personal choice Completing and maintaining required documentation on a web-based system Qualifications Ability to be certified in enhanced behavioral intervention Valid driver's license Ability to pass registry and background checks Ability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed Ability to use verbal and physical intervention to redirect and/or to complete an emergency safety intervention with a person who is physically aggressive or self-abusive Prefer at least two years of related experience or a degree/certification related to behavioral health. #J-18808-Ljbffr Hands of Heartland, Inc.
