IT Business Analyst III

Location: Jersey City, NJ Salary Range: Competitive Introduction We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, financial product knowledge, and business analysis. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to drive technology initiatives and ensure successful project delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications Advanced data analysis skills including SQL, Python, and AI tools. Understanding of market risk, greeks, VaR, stress tests, and complex financial products. Experience in driving requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions. Ability to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements within agreed project timelines. Strong knowledge of Capital Markets, Prime Brokerage, Margin, Collateral, or Risk Management processes. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience working in Agile delivery environments. Proficiency with business analysis and documentation tools. Prior work experience at client or in client's industry. Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Partner with Equity Derivatives trading, sales, and operations to understand risk PL workflows. Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and data flows. Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technology deliverables. Support impact analysis for regulatory, control, and remediation initiatives. Work with development teams to clarify requirements, resolve design questions, and support testing. Own and drive delivery of technology initiatives across risk PL and upstream/downstream impacted teams. Develop and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues. Coordinate across global technology and business stakeholders to ensure timely execution. Track delivery progress and provide clear status reporting to senior stakeholders. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
