Job Description

Job Summary:
Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography, ensuring high-quality imaging and adherence to department standards. Provide expert positioning, compression, and technical application to produce accurate diagnostic images.

Responsibilities:

• Execute mammography procedures with proficient positioning, compression, and technique application.
• Label radiographic images accurately according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Assess images for technical quality and ensure timely transmission to PACS.
• Complete all studies within the designated electronic medical record system (IDX).
• Record all patient tracking information accurately into the tracking system.
• Maintain workflow efficiency and professionalism throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Demonstrate competency in mammography positioning and technique.
• Maintain compliance with MQSA standards and guidelines.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
