- Duration: Ongoing locums coverage with permanent placement potential
- Reason for Coverage: Additional provider support needed for laborist model
- Board Certified OB/GYN
- Board Eligible OB/GYN
- Active Ohio license preferred
- Candidates willing to obtain Ohio licensure will be considered
- ACLS

- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Physician backup call for Certified Nurse Midwife
- 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- OB Hospitalist / Laborist Model
- Labor & Delivery Unit
- Inpatient-only setting
- No outpatient responsibilities
- Level III Nursery
- Epic EMR
- Registered Nurses
- Certified Nurse Midwife
- Onsite Lab
- Onsite Ultrasound
- Low-risk pregnancies
- High-risk pregnancies
- Multiple gestations/twins
- Toxemia
- Diabetes in pregnancy
- Chronic cardiac conditions
- Chronic pulmonary disease
- Chronic renal disease
- Pyelonephritis
- Vaginal deliveries
- Operative vaginal deliveries (low forceps)
- C-section decision-making
- Cesarean sections
- Breech deliveries
- Multiple births
- Placental abruptions
- VBAC management
- Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
- Emergency GYN coverage for unassigned patients
- Diagnostic laparoscopy
- Tubal ligation
- Lysis of adhesions (LOA)

- Experienced OB Hospitalist/Laborist
- Comfortable managing both low- and high-risk obstetric patients
- Proficient in operative deliveries and emergency obstetric procedures
